A Day with Mosaics

This is a one day course introducing you to the fun of working with mosaics. You will choose to work with glass or ceramic mosaic tiles which you will learn to cut and then work with. You will be introduced to the direct method of working with mosaics and will produce a finished piece by the end of the day. You will make piece which can be produced as a mosaic panel or a mirror with a mosaic border.

You can also opt to make a Glass Applique panel which is a cross between stained glass and mosaic. Your back panel is clear glass, and you fix pieces of coloured glass onto this with a clear silicone glue. To finish the piece is grouted as you would for a mosaic panel.

Cost: £85 fully inclusive of all supplies, use of tools, lunch and refreshments.
